My teaching philosophy is constantly being reflected upon and amended due to the everyday learning that occurs both in life but also in the school environment (for teachers and students)
I place a great emphasis upon setting new expectations for my students and allowing a 'clean slate' for reputably 'difficult' students. Student centred learning and inquiry based learning allow students to have more control and input into their own learning.
I find that students respond well when allowed to research, organise and create rather than following the traditional and easy to fall into methods of teacher talk.
